Projects and Museum progress

Chieftain project.

Okay we are dragging (driving) the Chieftain out of its hole this week to get her up and running and spend a bit of time on here to make her look and feel a bit better...if anyone is able to help then let us know.

Work continues on the new site but planning is still not yet cleared...it is coming though...

Watch this space for upcoming projects and pictures of the museum coming together.  Its all very exciting.

riley RME engine has for some reason seized and may need a full rebuild.

Munga Jeep, Lord Carringtons actual jeep from his days in the UN 1984 to 1988, ...Lord Carrington was a WW2 soldier and then an MP with Winston Churchills government of 1951-55...he also resigned hounorably, one of the last to do so, because of his inability to stop the invasion of the Falklands by Argentina in 1982

Striker, needs full rebuild.

Tatra, massive restoration job, new engine to be fitted...old one to become a display item...

Zil 157 old radar truck...needs full rebuild to museum quality...not for driving...engine to be removed and displayed alongside...

Volunteers needed if anyone has a few moments spare and wants to be part of the museum from the beginning you are all welcome.  Its a real mess at the moment and we are not rich with cash but we will get some to show by may nex year...our target date...
